Project Protégé - Mentorship Program

What will you do after you graduate?

Are you currently enrolled in social work, human services or recreation at Mount Royal University or the University of Calgary?

Consider applying for The City of Calgary Youth Employment Centre's Mentorship Program! As a participant, you will have the opportunity to interact with and utilize the expertise of a City of Calgary mentor who works in your field, make contacts, and gain hands-on knowledge and information for your potential occupation or field of interest.

We are currently recruiting participants for the 2017-2018 Mentorship Program. If you are under the age of 25 and enrolled in Social Work, Human Services, or Health and Physical Education at Mount Royal University or the University of Calgary, this may be a good fit for you! Participants will be required to attend mandatory training sessions on Saturday, October 21st, 2017 from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. Additionally, participants will be asked to attend a Kick-Off event (Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 from 1:30-3:00 pm), monthly Mentor and YEC Employment Advisor meetings.

The deadline for applications is September 30th, 2017. Please note that only those individuals selected for an interview will be contacted.
